The Origins of CMW

During the Covid pandemic we saw a huge proliferation of at-home testing. Following the easing of restrictions and the return to normal social activities, we realised that we had all developed a more heightened sense of the importance around our health and wellbeing and that of our families. We have all suffered from a variety of aches and ailments that previously we would have disregarded but now we don’t overlook and instead take affirmative action. We identified that there was no immediate answer and no clear pathway with regards to at-home testing. This led us to undertake a journey of discovery. Discussing this amongst our wider circles it became clear that colleagues and friends were experiencing the same issues. With most suffering in silence with a number of seemingly common symptoms, the majority were unsure where to look or who to turn to for qualitative tests regarding their health and wellbeing. Working with industry experts and healthcare professionals we have launched our first range of tests with new products being introduced to the range as our journey develops.

Additionally, all confidential documentation is handled by a specialised waste management company, and any waste samples are disposed of as medical waste through incineration.

Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to environmental responsibility in all aspects of our operations. Our box packaging is now entirely recyclable and utilises plant-based ink. Within our offices and labs, we prioritise recycling non-confidential waste, and we actively promote using energy-saving devices throughout our business premises. As part of our long-term goal, we aim to partner with suppliers of essential services, such as energy, waste disposal, and consumables, who are either carbon neutral or derive their resources from renewable sources.
